PTO

In the year 2001 we decided to form our very own parent group not affiliated with any national parent/teacher association. We act in the best interest of the students who attend Vista Elementary. All funds raised by Vista's "VIP's" stay at Vista.

Our lost and found boxes are overflowing! If your student is missing a coat or backpack, etc., please have them check the boxes by the cafeteria. We also have a collection of lost eye glasses, cell phones and keys. You can check for the smaller items in the office.

Wish you all a Happy New Year!

Time to play catch up.....

  • I just want to say THANK YOU for all who helped out with our fall fundraiser. I noticed the kids LOVED the ducks that they were able to earn. What did you think? Would you like us to bring that fundraiser back?
  • Our fall family activity at Classic Skating had a huge turnout. Watch the calender for our next Classic Family night sometime in the spring.
  • We want to bring Zumba back. The kids seem to enjoy it last year, so as soon as we get some dates finalized, we will get started.
  • We will be electing and voting for next years new PTO committee. We will be getting a new President, 2 Vice Presidents and treasurer. Our secretary Kristy Gallegos will be staying on board this next term.
  • We have FINALLY finished the paperwork so that we can apply to be a non profit group. There are so many things we can do and apply for once we are non profit. Lets keep our fingers crossed that it goes through soon!
  • I want to thank all the parents that come and help out Vista PTO! Without you, we wouldnt be able to accomplish all that we do.
